• Description:

  When the basic carrier bars for rails are mounted, the (panorama) sliding
  sunroof cannot be opened entirely. To ventilate the vehicle interior, the
  (panorama) sliding sunroof can still be raised at the rear. If the (panorama)
  sliding sunroof comes into contact with a basic carrier bar for rails which has
  been approved by Mercedes-Benz, it will lower slightly but remain raised at
  the rear.
  When add-on carrying equipment is mounted (e.g. sports and luggage
  container, ski rack), make sure that the tailgate can be opened entirely.
  Take note of the change in the vehicle dimensions when the basic carrier
  bars for rails are mounted.
  Do not enter an automatic car wash when the basic carrier bars for rails
  are fitted to the vehicle.
  For safety reasons, and in order to save fuel, the basic carrier bars for
  rails should be removed from the vehicle when not in use.
  Ensure that the roof load is evenly distributed across all basic carrier bars
  for rails.
